Job summary

Eclipse Global is seeking a skilled Technical Manager to support technical preparation and delivery for live, digital and hybrid events. The role collaborates with project teams to realise plans on schedule and within budget, and acts as a trusted source of technical information across disciplines.

The successful candidate will oversee pre-production, advise on technical requirements with clients, and contribute to best practices while maintaining project margin and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and advise on technical requirements, within project teams, sales teams and directly with clients.
• Produce technical documentation, including but not limited to, specifications, schematics, health and safety documents.
• Project prep and delivery.
• Provide consultation to the wider team on technical best practice.
• Manage pre-production within a project team.
• Discuss event requirements with clients directly, where required.
• Assist and advise in maintaining cost control and event specific margin targets.
• Liaise cross departmentally, to ensure the highest level of service is received and all projects are carried out in accordance with client specific requirements.

Currently, we're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Manager to join our team to support the business in technical preparation and delivery, including live, digital and hybrid projects.

The Technical Manager will work alongside project teams to achieve the best possible technical outcomes for the business, ensuring plans and specifications can be realised on schedule and within budget. They will be regarded as a valuable and trusted source of technical information, and looked to as a subject matter expert across disciplines.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Discuss and advise on technical requirements, within project teams, sales teams and directly with clients.

Additional Duties

• Involvement in CAPEX consultation as required.
• Assist in identifying areas of improvement across the business.
• Champion Eclipse’s technical policies and procedures.
• Facilitate technical innovation and best practice in technical design.
