Job summary

Eclipse is looking for an organised Audio-Visual Technician to join our live events team in Greater London. You will work with Sales, Events and Partnerships to deliver AV services for conferences, exhibitions and hospitality events, ensuring requirements are understood and met with high standards.

The role involves running pre-event checks, on-site setup, testing, event support and post-event pack-down, plus training junior staff and managing digital signage.

Qualifications

• Experience in a live events environment (technical and coordination).
• Knowledge of integrated AV technology including QSYS, Crestron and Tripleplay Digital Signage.
• Ability to sound check and operate audio for match day entertainment on digital consoles and PA systems.
• Ability to fault find and resolve technical issues in time-sensitive high-pressure situations.
• Ability to prioritise requests from multiple stakeholders.

Currently, we're seeking an organised and detail-oriented Audio-Visual Technician to join our team and help us streamline our event preparation process.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the Sales, Events, and Partnerships Teams to provide Audio Visual services and support for events including conferences, exhibitions, dinners, suite meetings, partnership events, hospitality, entertainment and tours.
• Attend event meetings with internal and external event organisers to understand requirements, provide technology solutions and advise on best practices. Work with inhouse and external production companies to plan events utilising 3rd party and venue owned equipment.
• Take ownership of AV technology services for events, ensure event organisers requirements are met and AV services are successfully delivered to a high standard.
• Create event planning processes to ensure that all event related meetings and correspondence is documented and agreed.
• Create, document and carryout pre-event check procedures for all events.
• Run AV technology at events including pre-event set up / testing, event support and the pack up of all equipment.
• Provide training to events assistants and hospitality teams.
• Upload and schedule digital signage for events.
• Install matchday entertainment / band AV equipment.
• Carry out any other duties as may be requested by the line manager within the scope of the role.

Experience Required:

• Experience of working in a live events environment (technical and coordination)
• Working knowledge of integrated AV technology including QSYS, Crestron and Tripleplay Digital Signage
• Ability to sound check and operate audio for match day entertainment, including Allen & Heath Digital Consoles & d&b PA Systems.
• Ability to fault find and resolve technical issues in time sensitive high-pressure situations
• Ability to prioritise requests from multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to plan multiple events at the same time, whilst keeping event documentation up to date throughout the planning process.
