Job summary

Sword is seeking a Senior Technical Lead within our Cloud & Cyber Services practice to shape the quality, direction and development of technical services across strategic engagements and managed services.

The role involves leading Technical Service Architects, guiding senior technical colleagues, and ensuring high standards across design and delivery with a focus on security, resilience and governance.

Qualifications

Proven technical leadership experience within IT consultancy, MSP or customer-facing tech environment.
Extensive leadership of senior technical professionals and teams.
Broad knowledge across cloud, infrastructure, identity and cyber security.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop Technical Service Architects with clear roadmap ownership and continuous service improvement.
Oversee technical standards, reference architectures, governance and quality assurance across projects.
Provide technical assurance for secure, resilient and compliant customer solutions.
Drive strategic service offerings from concept to delivery and support.
Define technical scope, delivery requirements and documentation for new offerings.
Act as a senior technical advisor to strategic customers and manage escalations.
Collaborate with Project/Service Delivery Managers to maintain quality throughout delivery lifecycle.
Support recruitment and onboarding of technical staff and plan capability roadmap.
