Job summary

Sword is seeking a Technical Lead in the UK to shape the quality and direction of our Cloud & Cyber Services. You will lead Technical Service Architects, mentor senior colleagues and maintain design governance across strategic projects and managed services.

You will drive roadmaps, service improvement, and act as a trusted advisor to strategic customers, ensuring secure, resilient, and supportable solutions aligned with long-term goals.

Qualifications

• Proven technical leadership experience within an IT consultancy, MSP or customer-facing technology environment.
• Demonstrable experience leading, coaching and developing senior technical professionals.
• Broad technical knowledge across cloud, infrastructure, Microsoft 365, identity, digital workplace, cyber security, resilience and managed services.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Technical Service Architects, setting clear expectations around technical roadmap ownership, continuous service improvement, assurance and escalation.
• Own and maintain technical standards, reference architectures, design governance and quality assurance across strategic projects and managed services.
• Provide technical leadership and input across bids, proposals, service design and strategic customer opportunities.
