Job summary

PermaRock is seeking a technically minded Technical Hub Coordinator to join our Technical Department in Loughborough. The role mixes technical administration, CAD work, documentation and client support, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery of technical information.

You will prepare, coordinate and manage project specs, U-Value calculations and system data, collaborating with colleagues, clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at 5 grades 9-4, including Maths and a Science subject.
• Full UK driving licence (occasional site visits).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical documents including CAD drawings, specs and data sheets.
• Create and issue system drawings and U-Value calculations.
• Produce project specifications following training.
• Maintain internal technical databases and documentation.
• Support clients and specifiers with technical submittals.
• Mentor the Technical Assistant in drawing reading and detail compilation.
• Assist clients by phone and video with technical queries.
• Coordinate with Sales, Technical Services and Lab for information requests.
• Organise digital and physical filing systems for records.
• Monitor shared mailboxes and route enquiries to the right team.
