Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with a strong technical/building services background to lead engineering operations at a prestigious commercial site in Northampton.

The role involves overseeing maintenance, safety, compliance, subcontractors, and AP training, with a salary of £51,500–£55,000 plus AP payments and private healthcare. You will drive safety and operational excellence while pursuing ongoing training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as Facilities Manager or similar with building services.
• Strong technical background in building services maintenance.
• Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift and day engineering teams.
• Ensure PPM and reactive maintenance is completed safely and on time.
• Manage subcontractors and specialist works.
• Complete compliance documentation and audits.
• Deliver toolbox talks and maintain safe systems of work.
• Support projects and AP training.
