Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions seeks an Engineering Manager for a prestigious Essex site. You will lead the in-house engineering and property team, overseeing electrical and mechanical services across the building and managing related contracts and budgets.

The role requires a strong maintenance engineering background, knowledge of building services, and excellent communication to liaise with user groups and contractors. A/HNC level qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fully electrically or mechanically qualified to HNC level.
• Excellent knowledge of building services systems.
• Experience in commercial buildings.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to deal with people at all levels.
• Advanced Excel
• Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Control of all mechanical services and management of associated engineering contracts.
• Control of all building services, infrastructure, maintenance and repairs.
• Project management of refurbishment projects.
• Ensure plant, back-up and monitoring systems are maintained and tested regularly.
• Manage budgets and outsourced contracts; supervise contractors.
