About the Role

Our client is a global industry-leading multi-disciplinary consultancy operating across various sectors including water, residential, commercial, defence, transport infrastructure, energy, and renewables.

They are seeking an Environmental Planning Associate Director or Technical Director to join their Environment, Sustainability & Planning team in the UK, with multiple locations available: Manchester, Leicester, Leeds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects, teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement plans for timely project delivery within budget and standards.
• Coordinate the EIA strategy alongside the Head of Environmental Impact Assessment.
• Prepare comprehensive EIA reports and reviews.
• DCO coordination experience is advantageous.
• Demonstrate strong business development and client management skills (new markets, bidding, contract reviews, etc.).

Seeking an experienced Environmental Planning professional with over 10 years of relevant experience.

Candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a solid technical background, leadership qualities, and commercial acumen for business development.
