Job summary

TTI Europe seeks a Technical Development Manager for Passives & Discretes to drive UK design-in activities and support customers across the region. You will collaborate with sales and suppliers to advance Passives solutions and manage related projects.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in design-in/technical support within electronics, a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, and fluent English. Travel and home-office setup are expected to enable effective customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Drive demand creation in the UK and report to the Regional Technical Manager for Northern and Western Europe.
• Visit customer engineering departments and provide technical support.
• Collaborate with sales and suppliers to design-in Passives components.
• Maintain and update key project activities.
• Understand customer application requirements and industry trends.
• Implement and execute TTI and supplier product strategy.
• Develop training and promotional materials for key design products.

Technical Development Manager - Passives & Discretes

Location: UK

Your responsibilities include:

• Focusing on demand creation in the United Kingdom, reporting to the Regional Technical Manager for Northern and Western Europe
• Driving visit activity to customer engineering departments and technically support customers
• Working closely with our sales team and suppliers to design-in Passives components
• Maintaining and updating key project activities
• Understanding customer application requirements and related industry trends
• Implementing and executing TTI and supplier product strategy
• Assisting and developing training and promotional materials for key design products

What you bring to us:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience with design-in and providing technical support within the electronics market as either customer, distributor, or manufacturer
• University degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• Extensive knowledge of Passives & Discretes components
• Experience in new business identification and project management with strong organizational skills
• Good verbal / written communications and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English is required
• Willingness to travel and in possession of a valid driver's license
• Strong teamwork and communication skills and motivated to work from a home office
• Good Microsoft Office knowledge and other relevant applications
