Job summary

Scottish Government Recruitment is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to join the Digital Services team in Glasgow. We currently have an opportunity for a Technical Delivery Manager to join our Digital Services team. This role will suit someone who is confident taking accountability for the performance of a delivery team and ensuring outcomes are achieved.

At this level, you will build and maintain teams, making sure they are motivated, collaborating effectively, and focused on delivering digital services. You will identify and remove obstacles, keep delivery momentum, and prioritise what matters most.

You will work in line with Social Security Scotland’s delivery strategy and project management principles, and closely with a range of internal technical teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. You will have responsibility for coordinating the delivery of digital products and services across key platforms, ensuring technology is used to deliver high-quality business services for clients and colleagues.

The complexity and scope of delivery will vary depending on the programme or service area, but in every case, you will play a central role in ensuring successful delivery across the Agency’s portfolio of change.

A Technical Delivery Manager is accountable for the performance of the team. At this role level, you will:
