Job summary

Social Security Scotland is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead the Digital Services team in Scotland. You will be accountable for the performance of delivery teams, removing blockers and keeping momentum to deliver high-quality digital services for clients and colleagues.

You will build and maintain motivated teams, collaborate with internal technical teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, prioritise work, and apply Agile and Lean tools to continuously improve delivery.

Qualifications

• Practitioner-level ability in Agile and Lean practices, adapting processes to context and measuring outcomes.
• Strong ability to communicate between technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations and difficult conversations.
• Planning with data, managing dependencies, and prioritising work to ensure delivery confidence.
