Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Technical Lead in Farnborough who will have overall responsibility for engineering delivery and team leadership across the workstream assigned by the Chief Engineer. The role covers project start-up, delivery, operations and closedown, with potential for on-contract growth.

You will deliver and technically assure solutions, lead, mentor and coordinate the team, ensuring processes meet standards and governance.

Qualifications

• Experienced technical leader able to coordinate engineering teams across complex systems.
• Background in software development as implementing engineer.
• Strong communication and ability to articulate design concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assure the solution within quality, cost and schedule constraints.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the workstream team.
• Prepare and update design documentation and baselines as required by the project.
• Work with project managers to prepare WBS and estimates for proposals and growth.
