Job summary

Leidos UK & Europe is seeking an Infrastructure & Logistics Engineer to join the Mission-Critical Systems team. This role focuses on building and maintaining robust infrastructure for safe, high-performing operations across defence and government programs.

Based in Whiteley with predominantly onsite work (4 days on site, 1 day WFH), you will drive deployments, troubleshooting, and documentation to underpin critical air traffic management projects and platform integrations.

Qualifications

• Linux administration experience, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience with virtualised server environments and infrastructure environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and document work for stakeholders.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS and routing.
• Experience supporting operationally critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance infrastructure, laboratory and integration environments.
• Install, configure and maintain Linux, server and virtualised platforms.
• Investigate and resolve hardware, software and networking issues.
• Support system deployments, upgrades and customer installations.
• Manage backups, system builds and asset lifecycle activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver project outcomes.
• Produce technical documentation, reports and status updates.
• Contribute to integration, verification and testing activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and system performance.
