Job summary

Hunter Dunning Limited is seeking a Technical Coordinator to assist the Technical Director on construction projects from Whiteley, Hampshire. You will coordinate consultants, manage planning conditions, prepare building regulations submissions and produce drawings while guiding technical information flow across the project teams.

Ideal candidates have AutoCAD proficiency, strong knowledge of building regulations and construction law, plus excellent organizational and communication skills to

• HNC in Building or NVQ Level 5 or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations processes.
• Understanding of construction law and regulatory constraints.
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Overview

A Technical Coordinator is required to support the Technical Director across construction projects and wider technical delivery. Based in Whiteley, Hampshire, this role suits someone with strong construction knowledge, AutoCAD proficiency and building regulations experience, supporting live developments through technical coordination, approvals, working drawings and consultant management.

Role & Responsibilities

• Coordinate consultants and technical production information
• Manage planning conditions and associated technical requirements
• Prepare building regulations and statutory approval submissions
• Produce working drawings and supporting technical information
• Review supplier, manufacturer and sales technical informationYou will provide technical support to Project Managers, Site Managers and other departments, helping assess buildability and maintain accurate project information throughout delivery.

Skills & Experience Required

• HNC in Building or relevant NVQ Level 5
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office 365
• Detailed knowledge of building regulations processes
• Understanding of construction law and regulatory constraints
• Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skillsYou should be confident coordinating internal and external stakeholders, prioritising changing requirements and maintaining accurate technical reporting.
