Job summary

Knightwood Associates seeks a Technical Coordinator to join its established technical team in Kent. You will manage technical information, drawings, and coordination across consultants to ensure schemes meet approvals and design intent.

Key requirements include an HNC/HND in Construction, Design or Civil Engineering, strong organisational and communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge of RIBA stages and CDM Regulations is advantageous.

Qualifications

Technical Coordinator, Kent

A highly respected residential developer is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join their established technical team. Known for delivering high-quality, thoughtfully designed homes, they pride themselves on collaboration, buildability and efficient project delivery across a range of residential schemes.

As Technical Coordinator, you will manage and coordinate all technical information, engineering details and working drawing packages to ensure developments are delivered as intended and secure all necessary approvals. Key responsibilities include coordinating consultants, securing S104/S38/S278 approvals, managing surveys and reports, supporting design meetings, and ensuring information is issued accurately and on schedule.

Applicants should be either existing Technical Coordinators working for housebuilders or design co-ordinators working for contractors on residential schemes for developers or councils. A HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Construction, Design or Civil Engineering is essential, alongside strong organisational skills, a solid understanding of AutoCAD and excellent communication abilities. Candidates must be proficient also in traditional housing construction. Experience across RIBA stages and knowledge of CDM regulations will be highly advantageous.
