Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Technical Coordinator for a Bridgwater, Somerset site. The role focuses on owning the Quality Management System, ensuring food safety compliance and coordinating audits within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will work with production and technical teams to drive quality improvements, analyse KPI data and support continuous improvement initiatives. The package includes a £45,000 salary, a 5% bonus, and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Technical/QA role.
• Experience in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and food safety standards.
• Internal and external audit experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Produce and analyse quality performance reports and KPIs.
• Work closely with production teams to drive quality improvements.

A leading food manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join their established technical team at their Bridgwater site. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality, Technical or QA professional looking to take ownership of quality management systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with production, operations and technical teams, you will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, ensuring compliance, coordinating audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Support investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actionsProduce and analyse quality performance reports and KPIs
• Work closely with production teams to drive quality improvements
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiencies
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site
• Build strong relationships with internal departments, customers and suppliers
• Promote quality awareness and best practice throughout the busines

The Candidate

• Previous experience within a Technical, Quality or QA role
• Experience working within food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and food safety standards
• Internal and external audit experience desirable

Salary: £45,000

Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:00 / 08:00 - 16:00
