Job summary

Hunter Selection is partnering with a leading food manufacturing business in Bridgwater to recruit a Quality Coordinator to join the technical team. You will own the site’s Quality Management System, ensure food safety compliance and coordinate audits to support production and operations.

The role is ideal for someone with experience in Technical, Quality or QA roles within FMCG, beverage or food processing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Technical, Quality or QA role
• Experience working within food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and food safety standards
• Internal and external audit experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Support investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Produce and analyse quality performance reports and KPIs
• Work closely with production teams to drive quality improvements
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiencies
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site
• Build strong relationships with internal departments, customers and suppliers
• Promote quality awareness and best practice throughout the business

Quality/Technical Coordinator

A leading food manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join their established technical team at their Bridgwater site.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality, Technical or QA professional looking to take ownership of quality management systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with production, operations and technical teams, you will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, ensuring compliance, coordinating audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Responsibilities
