Job summary

Computerworld Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Technical Coordinator for our Bridgwater site to own and drive the site’s quality management system.

You will work closely with production, operations and technical teams to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating audits and driving improvements. The role suits a Quality/Technical professional with experience in food manufacturing, ready to take ownership of QMS, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Technical, Quality or QA role.
• Experience in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Support investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Produce and analyse quality performance reports and KPIs.
• Work closely with production teams to drive quality improvements.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiencies.
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Build strong relationships with internal departments, customers and suppliers.
• Promote quality awareness and best practice throughout the busines.

A leading food manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join their established technical team at their Bridgwater site.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality, Technical or QA professional looking to take ownership of quality management systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with production, operations and technical teams, you will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, ensuring compliance, coordinating audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Support investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions

The Candidate

• Previous experience within a Technical, Quality or QA role

Salary: £45,000

Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:00 / 08:00 - 16:00
