Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting a Technical/Quality Coordinator for our Bridgwater site in Somerset. You will own the quality management system, coordinate audits, and drive continuous improvement across production, operations and technical teams to maintain food safety standards.

The role focuses on ensuring compliance, supporting investigations and delivering quality KPIs, while collaborating with suppliers and customers to promote best practices and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Experience in food/beverage/FMCG manufacturing.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and food safety standards.
• Audit experience desirable.
• Previous Technical/Quality/QA role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Support investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Produce and analyse quality performance reports and KPIs.
• Work closely with production teams to drive quality improvements.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiencies.
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Build relationships with internal departments, customers and suppliers.
• Promote quality awareness and best practice throughout the business.

A leading food manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join their established technical team at their Bridgwater site. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality, Technical or QA professional looking to take ownership of quality management systems within a fast:paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with production, operations and technical teams, you will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, ensuring compliance, coordinating audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the sites Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Support investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Produce and analyse quality performance reports and KPIs
• Work closely with production teams to drive quality improvements
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiencies
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site
• Build strong relationships with internal departments, customers and suppliers

The Candidate

• Previous experience within a Technical, Quality or QA role
• Experience working within food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and food safety standards
• Internal and external audit experience desirable

Salary: GBP45,000

Monday : Friday 07:00 : 15:00 / 08:00 : 16:00
