Job summary

Ecolab Purification Technologies Europe seeks a Technical Sales Support to deliver technical support for ion exchange, adsorbent, and catalyst applications across industries including water treatment, pharma, and food & beverage. You will assist customers with commissioning, optimization, and data‑driven problem solving, while supporting sales teams with product selection and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in polymer chemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, water technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical consulting, applications engineering, process engineering, water treatment, or related industrial technologies.
• Strong understanding of chemistry and industrial process applications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Europe.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multinational team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for ion exchange, adsorbent, and catalyst applications.
• Evaluate customer processes and identify resin optimization opportunities via data analysis.
• Assist customers with commissioning, start-up, and performance optimization.
• Support sales with product selection, troubleshooting, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with regional managers to identify new business opportunities.
• Deliver technical insights during customer visits, bids, and proposals.
• Support lab and pilot studies in collaboration with R&D.
• Contribute to product development and new technology validation.
• Deliver technical seminars, workshops, and training.
• Create technical reports and customer-facing documentation.
