Job summary

Ecolab Purification Technologies (Purolite Resins) seeks a Technical Consultant to support Europe with expert applications, troubleshooting, and training across ion exchange, adsorbent, and catalyst systems. You will partner with sales, conduct site audits, and deliver technical seminars while traveling ~30% of the time.

Role requires a chemistry/engineering degree, 3+ years of technical consulting experience, fluent English, and willingness to travel throughout Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Water Technology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in technical consulting, applications engineering or water-related industries.
• Strong understanding of chemistry and industrial process applications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel across Europe with valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for ion exchange, adsorbent, and catalyst applications.
• Evaluate customer processes and identify resin optimization opportunities via data analysis and audits.
• Assist commissioning, startup, optimization, and issue resolution.
• Support sales with product selection and application recommendations.
• Collaborate with regional sales and account managers to develop new business.
• Deliver technical seminars, workshops, and customer training.
• Contribute to laboratory studies and collaboration with R&D and product teams.
