Job summary

Avara Foods is seeking a proactive Technical Compliance Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Telford site. You will join the Technical Team to support specifications, QA activities and continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates are recent Food Science/Technology graduates or those with relevant technical experience, with strong Excel and communication skills and a hands-on approach to factory operations.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
• Experience in technical, quality or food manufacturing roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Product Specifications Coordinator and Production teams with new and existing product specifications and QA activities.
• Support the control and maintenance of the Quality Management System, including document control and revision of procedures and forms.
• Coordinate GMP audits to ensure ongoing compliance across the site.
