Job summary

Avara Foods is seeking a proactive Technical Compliance Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Telford site. You will join the Technical Team to support specifications, QA activities and continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates are recent Food Science/Technology graduates or those with relevant technical experience, with strong Excel and communication skills and a hands-on approach to factory operations.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
• Experience in technical, quality or food manufacturing roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Product Specifications Coordinator and Production teams with new and existing product specifications and QA activities.
• Support the control and maintenance of the Quality Management System, including document control and revision of procedures and forms.
• Coordinate GMP audits to ensure ongoing compliance across the site.

Telford/Wednesbury/Dudley | Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

Your key responsibilities as a Technical Compliance Assistant will include:

• Assisting the Product Specifications Coordinator and Production teams with new and existing product specifications and quality assurance activities
• Supporting the control and maintenance of the Quality Management System, including document control and revision of procedures and formsCoordinating GMP audits, ensuring all areas are regularly assessed to maintain compliance standardsSubmitting laboratory sample data and maintaining accurate recordsSupporting the planning, organisation and communication of factory trialsCoordinating product and environmental sampling activitiesAssisting with technical projects and completion of technical information requestsSupporting continuous improvement activities across the Technical function
