Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a Technical Administrator to join our Ebbw Vale site on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will support food safety, quality and compliance across the business, helping to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

Working closely with the Technical team and colleagues, you’ll manage key documentation, support audits and maintain quality systems, contributing to continuous improvement and the achievement of customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical, quality or food safety role within food manufacturing.
• Experience using QMS, document control and technical procedures.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 3.
• Internal Auditor training or auditing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Technical Administrator to join our team in Ebbw Vale on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting food

safety, quality and compliance across the business.

As a Technical Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our quality and food safety operations, helping to ensure our products

consistently meet the highest standards. Working closely with the Technical team and colleagues across the business, you'll manage

key documentation, support audits, maintain robust quality systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This is a

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5pm and Friday: 8:30am – 4pm

Your Duties Will Include:

• Support the Technical team in maintaining food safety, quality and compliance standards.
• Manage and maintain technical documentation, records and quality systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a Technical, Quality or Food Safety role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Experience using Quality Management Systems (QMS), including document control and technical procedures.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 3.
• Internal Auditor training or auditing experience is desirable.
