Job summary

Skilled Careers is recruiting a Technical Coordinator for a regional contractor delivering residential developments. The role combines office and site work, coordinating design information, managing consultants and ensuring technical compliance across projects from pre-construction to completion.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar senior coordination role within residential construction, and will navigate Building Regulations, NHBC standards and planning requirements

Qualifications

• Experience in a Technical Coordinator, Assistant Technical Manager, Design Coordinator or similar role within residential construction.
• Understanding of residential construction methods and technical design processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural, engineering and specialist consultant design teams.
• Manage the flow of technical information between consultants, site teams and subcontractors.
• Review and comment on drawings and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support the resolution of design and technical issues during construction.
• Attend design team meetings, site meetings and progress reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, NHBC standards and planning conditions.
• Monitor and track consultant deliverables against project programmes.
• Assist with Building Safety Act and Gateway submission requirements where applicable.
• Coordinate utility, drainage, highways and statutory authority approvals.
• Support procurement by providing accurate technical information to commercial and construction teams.
• Maintain document control procedures and ensure technical information is issued correctly.

Are you a Technical Coordinator looking for a new role We are currently recruiting for a Technical Coordinator for a Regional Contractor. The Technical Corodinator will be working on residenital led projects, experience working in a Techincal Coordinator position would be advantageous.

Location: Northolt - Office & Site Based
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + Package

About the Role

We are working with a well-established regional contractor delivering high-quality residential developments across the region. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Technical Coordinator to support the successful delivery of multiple housing and residential-led projects from pre-construction through to completion.

This is a varied role offering a mix of office and site-based working, coordinating design information, managing consultants, and ensuring technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Background working for a contractor, housebuilder, developer or consultancy.
• Understanding of residential construction methods and technical design processes.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC standards and planning requirements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and common document management systems.
