Job summary

Red Recruitment is seeking a Technical Claims Handler for a leading international law firm in Bristol City Centre. The role focuses on managing complex technical claims, acting as a subject matter expert, and supporting brokers, lawyers, investigators and assessors.

You should have extensive claims experience (10+ years) with strong relationship-building skills. The role offers 35 hours per week, permanent contract, hybrid after probation, and a salary up to £45,000 per annum.

They are looking for motivated, hard-working and experienced individuals to join them as a Technical Claims Handler in Bristol City Centre.

Key Responsibilities of a Technical Claims Handler:

• Handling complex technical claims cases
• Acting as a subject matter expert across the business
• Providing technical and legislative claims expertise and knowledge
• Instructing and collaborating with claims partners, such as brokers, lawyers, investigators and assessors
• Developing and managing relationships with claims partners, updating existing processes, and creating new ones
• Support training of new starters and supervise team during peak periods

Key Skills and Experience of a Technical Claims Handler:

• You ideally will have a strong understanding of claims including technical knowledge and experience (10 plus years of handling claims essential)
• You should be able to build internal relationships and understand the expertise across the firm
• Having a commercial, committed and proactive approach is required
• You will need to be able to interact with clients, intermediaries and suppliers to build effective, collaborative working relationships based on trust
