Job summary

Connect Legal Partners is seeking a claims professional to handle professional indemnity matters for insurers. You will manage a full caseload within delegated authority, investigate new notifications, set strategy, and negotiate settlements.

You will also supervise colleagues, manage panel solicitors, and maintain accurate records in the case management system. Occasional travel to London is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical claims experience with relevant legal knowledge.
• Strong prioritisation and workload management.
• Knowledge of case management systems is preferred; think commercially.

A national law firm with a strong insurance and disputes practice, acting for insurers and corporate clients.

The role

You will work in a team handling professional indemnity claims on behalf of insurers. You will run a full caseload within delegated authority, investigate new notifications, decide strategy, negotiate settlements, manage panel solicitors and keep the case management system accurate. You will also help train and supervise colleagues. Occasional travel to London is needed.

What you will need

Technical claims experience with relevant legal knowledge, good prioritisation and workload management, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Case management system experience is preferred, and you should think commercially.
