Job description

Technical Business Development Lead

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £15 per hour

The Role

Responsible for all technical sales and business development activities internally, along with additional tasks as assigned by the Branch Manager.

Main Duties:
  1. Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone.
  2. Identify and develop new business opportunities from dormant and active accounts.
  3. Exceed customer service expectations.
  4. Create, quote, and record inquiries accurately.
  5. Issue quotes promptly and communicate delays to customers.
  6. Prepare quotes as directed by the Customer Service or Branch Manager.
  7. Follow sales strategies set by the Managing Director.
  8. Follow up with customers for orders, quotes, and purchase orders.
  9. Prioritize all sales-related work.
  10. Coordinate daily with Area Sales Managers regarding sales documentation, lead generation, and assistance.
  11. Update CRM with notes, files, job cards, photos, and relevant information.
  12. Perform general sales administration tasks.
  13. Undertake any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the company.
