Qualifications

• Five years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in education, membership, or professional body environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, including CRM/Customer Engagement, Power Platform, and related modules (BC/FO).
• Experience with market-leading LMS platforms such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, or TalentLMS.
• Solid understanding of student, learner, and membership lifecycle management processes.
• Hands-on experience with integrations, API management, and data migration/transformation.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with stakeholders; capable of bridging business and IT.
• Comfort with Agile delivery approaches (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Professional certifications in BA/PM or Microsoft Dynamics 365; working knowledge of Power BI and SQL.

Responsabilités

• Define business requirements for MS Dynamics 365 and LMS platforms in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Analyse existing student/membership platforms and propose enhancements or new solutions to improve UX and efficiency.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to capture processes and system needs.
• Translate business needs into functional/technical specifications including flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Support configuration, customization, and deployment of Dynamics 365 modules (CRM, Membership, Student Management).
• Coordinate with IT to ensure seamless integration between Dynamics 365, LMS, and third‑party apps.
• Help define API and data integration strategies for a unified student/member experience.
• Oversee data migration, system upgrades, and platform enhancements with vendors/developers.
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and acceptance criteria; perform UAT with stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and track defects and improvements; act as liaison between business, IT, and vendors.
• Support project planning, timelines, and deliverables; provide training and documentation for users.
• Monitor trends in edtech and membership platforms to drive innovation.

This role will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring the successful implementation and optimisation of student and membership platforms. The role holder will have expertise in business process analysis, system configurations, data management, and integrations within educational or membership-based environments. They will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, enhance platform capabilities, and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and technical experts to define business requirements for MS Dynamics 365 and LMS platforms. Analyse existing student/membership platforms and recommend enhancements or new solutions to improve user experience and operational efficiency. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, including process flows, use cases, and user stories Support the configuration, customisation, and deployment of MS Dynamics 365 modules (CRM, Membership, Student Management, etc.). Assist in defining API and data integration strategies for a seamless student/member experience. Collaborate with vendors and developers to oversee data migration, system upgrades, and platform enhancements. Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and acceptance criteria to validate system functionality. Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Identify, document, and track system defects and enhancements. Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors. Support project planning, timelines, and deliverables for platform-related initiatives. Provide training and documentation to business users on new system functionalities. Monitor industry trends and best practices for educational technology and membership platforms to drive innovation.

At least five years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably within an education, membership, or professional body environment. Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, including CRM, Customer Engagement, Power Platform, Business Central, or Finance and Operations modules. Experience working with market-leading Learning Management Systems such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, or TalentLMS. Solid understanding of student, learner, and membership lifecycle management processes. Hands‑on experience with system integrations, API management, and data migration or transformation activities. Proven ability to produce high‑quality business requirements, user stories, functional and technical specifications, and process documentation. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical audiences. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Pragmatic and outcomes‑focused, able to balance detail with delivery. Flexible and resilient in response to change and evolving requirements. Able to remain calm and effective under pressure.
