Job summary

Strand Intelligence, Manchester-based, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to own delivery cadence and articulate customer needs into well-scoped work for engineering. The role sits between users and developers, spending time with customers on calls, workshops and on-site engagements to translate feedback into actionable tickets.

You will lead agile delivery, manage the backlog, and ensure transparent progress from requirements to release.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software or technology environments.
Experience eliciting requirements directly from customers and stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Practical experience with process mapping or user journeys (BPMN, swimlanes, etc.).
Experience leading agile delivery with a maintained backlog and sprint cadence.

Responsibilities

Run the feedback loop: collect input from customer calls, workshops and instances of user research.
Write the tickets: translate feedback into Linear issues with clear scope and acceptance criteria.
Triage and prioritise: collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify urgent vs important work.
Close the loop: inform customers about what was built and why.
Own the delivery cadence and plan, unblock the team and track progress.
