Job summary

Moston is seeking a Technical Project Manager to strengthen QA/QC and asset management across M&E building services within a growing facilities consultancy. You will review technical data, perform quality audits and support lifecycle maintenance strategies for client projects, ensuring alignment with quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical assurance, QA/QC, asset management or hands-on engineering role (industry knowledge preferred).
• Sound understanding of Mechanical and Electrical building services and related assets.
• Knowledge of SFG20 maintenance standards and CIBSE guidance.
• Experience in facilities management, building services, or asset management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and asset management software.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical quality reviews and audits in line with QA/QC processes.
• Review M&E asset data and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Support compliance with industry standards (SFG20, CIBSE).
• Provide technical support on asset lifecycle management and maintenance strategies.
• Identify quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Contribute to QA/QC process improvements and templates.
• Collaborate with surveyors, project managers and clients to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Produce clear technical review reports and maintain QA records.
• Stay up-to-date with legislation and industry developments.
