M&E QA/QC Engineer — Major Infrastructure

Job summary

MJP SOLUTIONS LTD in West London is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to support a major M&E infrastructure project. You will join a team working closely with construction and engineering colleagues to ensure installations meet approved designs, specs and project quality requirements.

You will manage QA activities across mechanical and electrical works, prepare ITPs, review drawings, and coordinate with subcontractors to resolve quality issues and support handover.

Qualifications

• Previous QA Engineer / QA/QC experience within M&E or construction.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance procedures.
• Experience with ITPs, NCRs and inspection documentation.
• Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical installations.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Confident working with site delivery teams and subcontractors.
• Major infrastructure or rail experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality assurance activities across mechanical and electrical works.
• Carry out site inspections and monitor installation standards.
• Prepare and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
• Identify, record and manage non-conformances.
• Coordinate with Construction Managers, Engineers and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Support snagging and quality close-out.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and project handover.
• Participate in internal and client quality audits.
• Ensure all required quality records are completed and correctly maintained.
