Job summary

Heated Mechanical Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer for a major M&E infrastructure project in West London. You will support the project delivery team to ensure mechanical and electrical installations meet designs, specifications, and industry standards.

You will manage QA processes, produce ITPs, maintain quality records, and drive adherence across the installation works, coordinating with Construction Managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure high

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a QA/QC or Quality Engineer position within construction, M&E or building services.
• Strong understanding of construction quality assurance processes.
• Experience producing and managing ITPs and inspection records.
• Good knowledge of M&E installation and construction processes.
• Experience managing NCRs and quality close-out.
• Confident reviewing drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling or similarly complex project experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain quality assurance processes across M&E installation works.
• Carry out inspections and ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Produce and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Complete and maintain quality records and inspection documentation.
• Monitor installation quality and identify non-conformances.
• Raise, manage and close out NCRs where required.
• Coordinate inspections with Construction Managers, Engineers and subcontractors.
• Review installation documentation and technical information.
• Support snagging, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure quality documentation is completed accurately and maintained throughout the project.
• Assist with internal and client quality audits.
• Work closely with the wider project team to drive high standards of installation and workmanship.
