Job summary

TSA Surveying Ltd seeks a Senior M&E Asset Surveyor to lead QA/QC of M&E asset surveys and registers across major estate programmes. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with standards.

The position is home-based with immediate start for a 3-month contract, offering senior consultancy exposure and responsibility, working with delivery teams and clients on lifecycle and condition-related requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong M&E / building services background.
• Experience in M&E surveying, QA/QC, technical assurance or asset management.
• Confident reviewing and challenging technical information.
• Strong understanding of M&E assets, condition and lifecycle requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder and client-management skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and working with surveyors and delivery teams.
• Experience with asset management systems, Excel, Power BI or similar would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC and technical assurance of M&E asset surveys and registers.
• Review mechanical, electrical and public health asset information for accuracy, condition and compliance.
• Identify and resolve technical discrepancies, missing information and poor-quality survey outputs.
• Provide technical guidance and challenge surveyors, contractors and project teams where required.
• Oversee survey activity and ensure outputs meet client and programme requirements.
• Produce client-facing technical reports, findings and recommendations.
• Support clients with asset, lifecycle, maintenance and condition-related requirements.
• Ensure work aligns with relevant standards and frameworks including CIBSE, SFG20, Uniclass and NRM3.
