Job summary

Long Clawson Dairy (Clawson Farms) invites applications for Hygiene Operatives based at Long Clawson (LE14 4PJ). The role supports production by keeping all areas clean between shifts and ensuring hygiene standards are met.

You will work 36.65 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5:00pm to 1:00am. The job emphasizes food safety, allergen controls and collaboration with Team Leaders across the site; Level 2 hygiene certification is desirable and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
• Knowledge of allergen awareness, food safety and Health & Safety is important.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene is desirable; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare production areas between shifts to readiness for the next team.
• Follow Health & Safety guidelines and keep cleaning schedule records neat and accurate.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to maintain hygiene and improve processes.

We are now seeking a number of Hygiene Operatives, to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.

What you’ll do

Hygiene is hugely important to us and our customers – our hygiene team start work just as our factory stops so that they can get all our production areas clean and ready for the next shift.

What are we looking for?

• A hardworking individual who thrives under pressure and stays focused on delivering excellent results.
• Experienced in food manufacturing (or a similar industry) is a big plus!
• Strong knowledge of allergen awareness, food safety, and Health & Safety practices, your expertise helps ensure top standards.
• A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, but we’re happy to support your development if you’re keen to achieve it.
• Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) and/or COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) is a bonus, showing you're ready to contribute to a safe and efficient environment.
