Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd. is seeking a Technical Administrator in Stevenage on a 12 month contract. You will manage spares, calibrations and stock, working with SAP to maintain material masters and min/max levels.

You will liaise with engineers, deploy critical spares packages and use Jira to track item locations, ensuring minimal downtime for production. The role suits someone who can handle multiple priorities in a defence/aerospace context.

Qualifications

• Experience managing spares and stock control within an engineering environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP, including material masters and min/max levels.
• Understanding calibration concepts and related processes is beneficial.
• Ability to juggle multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Manage spares and stock from COTS to components, kits and service parts.
• Create and redeploy calibration/service kits back into stock holdings.
• Create material masters and interface with SAP management system.
• Determine min/max quantities with engineers and organise stock checks.
• Order new stock and use Jira to notify teams of item status.
• Support the Control Team Lead in handling critical spares and downtime minimisation.
• Liaise with engineering to understand requirements and deploy spare packages.

Technical Administrator

12 month contract

Based in Stevenage

Offering up to £24.19ph Inside IR35

As the Technical Administrator, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

• Managing Spares
• From COTS (commercial off the shelf) down to components e.g. IC's, connector savers & service kits
• Creation of calibration and service kits and there redeployment back in to our stock holding
• Creation of material masters with our SAP management system
• Working with engineers to ascertain min/max quantity levels
• Organisation of current stock and regular stock taking
• Ordering of new stock
• Using Jira to notify people of where items are up to
• Assisting the Control Team Lead in the management of critical spares
• Liaising with relevant Engineering function to determine their requirements
• Deploying critical spares packages and managing calibration requirements to minimise downtime to production
• Providing SAP training and producing documentation for calibration and maintenance specific activities for the control team

Your skillset may include:

• Experience and knowledge of managing spares
• Working knowledge of the SAP (Systems Applications and Products in data processing) enterprise resource planning system
• Experience in creating and managing material masters and min/max levels
• A good understanding of calibration principles and processes would be beneficial
• The ability to deal with multiple issues, tasks, and priorities concurrently
