Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to own complex transaction accounting, research guidance, and develop defensible positions for new products. You will partner with Product, Legal, and Finance to ensure accurate, policy-backed conclusions across disclosures and controls.

The role emphasizes crypto-related accounting, regulatory alignment, and clear written and verbal communication with external auditors and leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting knowledge across complex transactions.
• Ability to research accounting literature and form defensible positions.
• Experience documenting policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting research for new products and transactions.
• Translate complex guidance into clear accounting conclusions.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, Tax, Finance and External Auditors.
• Advise on ASC 606, ASC 350-60, ASC 810 and ASC 815 areas.
• Draft memos and position papers for implementation.
