Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Tax Operations professional to lead tax reporting for taxable and retirement accounts and manage exception reporting on withholding, cost basis, and crypto transactions.

You will partner with Customer Experience and Account Operations to resolve tax inquiries and withholding issues, and collaborate with product, project, and engineering teams to launch and scale tax initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in tax operations.
• Experience in Financial Services, Fintech, or Crypto.
• Understanding of tax onboarding procedures and Forms W-9/W-8BEN.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax reporting processes for taxable and retirement accounts.
• Execute critical exception reports covering withholding, cost basis, and crypto transactions.
• Partner with Customer Experience and Account Operations to resolve tax inquiries and withholding discrepancies.
• Develop and implement data reconciliations between internal systems and vendors for tax data.
• Collaborate with product, project, and engineering teams to scale tax-related initiatives.
