Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build core systems that issue, custody, and settle tokenized equities on-chain, ensuring correctness and auditability across multiple chains and jurisdictions. You will own large, technically complex projects end to end in a 24/7 system.

You will work with product, compliance, legal, and platform teams to translate regulatory constraints into workable architecture, mentoring engineers along the way.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build the core systems that issue, custody, and settle tokenized equities on‑chain and keep them in sync with traditional brokerage and ledger systems. You’ll lead technically complex projects end to end, make architectural decisions on a foundational Robinhood initiative, and work in a domain where correctness is non‑negotiable - the systems you build move real customer assets, continuously, across multiple chains and jurisdictions
• Design, build, and operate the backend services that mint, custody, and settle tokenized equities across leading blockchains, with correctness and auditability as hard requirements
• Own large, technically complex projects end to end - design, implementation, rollout, and operating what you ship in a 24/7 system
• Build the connective tissue between traditional market infrastructure (brokerage, ledgers, corporate actions) and on‑chain systems, including smart contract integrations, chain indexers, and DEX trade flows
• Partner with product, compliance, legal, and platform teams to turn regulatory constraints into workable system design
• Raise the technical bar through design reviews, code reviews, and hands‑on mentorship
