Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a skilled Tax Operations Analyst to join our team in the United Kingdom. The role involves executing exception reports on reporting, withholding and cost basis, and supporting tax inquiries for Customer Experience and Account Operations.

You will collaborate with product, project and engineering teams to launch and scale Robinhood products and systems, while contributing to tax-related projects and ensuring data integrity across internal systems and with vendors.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and drive projects to completion in a deadline driven environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• 3-5+ years of work experience in tax, accounting, and/or operations.
• Understanding of Tax Onboarding, including IRS Forms W-9 and W-8BEN.
• Previous Tax Ops or Tax Project management experience.
• Prior expertise with tools such as SQL, Databricks, etc
• Proficiency in working with large datasets, data mining and conversions.

Responsibilities

• Execute various exception reports covering areas such as reporting, withholding, and cost basis.
• Help Customer Experience and Account Operations teams handle tax-related inquiries and resolve reporting issues.
• Collaborate with product, project, and engineering teams to launch, improve and scale Robinhood products and systems.
• Contribute to and track various tax-related projects such as new product launches and promotions.
• Develop and assist with the implementation of reconciliations of data between internal systems and vendors, as well as verification of data being sent from the tax reporting vendor to IRS.
• Build and maintain dashboards for metrics and checklists to manage and change workflows and queries to improve team functions as well as to improve customer experience.
• Streamline data flow across Robinhood entities and departments and automate processes where possible.
