Simplyhealth in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and regulatory compliance across the business. You will act as a trusted technical expert within Finance, guiding the financial impact of key decisions and supporting governance and reporting practices.

Qualificações

• Strong technical accounting knowledge for complex accounting and regulatory matters.
• Experience supporting month-end close, reporting and governance processes.
• Ability to partner with commercial teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Providing technical accounting guidance and preparing technical papers on complex accounting and regulatory matters.
• Supporting the production of accurate management accounts, journals, reconciliations and month-end reporting.
• Leading balance sheet reviews, financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Maintaining a strong financial control environment and supporting governance processes across Finance.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning activities, including cash flow forecasting and balance sheet planning.
• Producing reporting and insight packs for senior stakeholders, committees, executive leadership and the Board.
• Supporting statutory reporting, audit activity and regulatory submissions.
• Partnering with Commercial Finance, FP&A and operational teams to provide financial insight and challenge.
• Driving continuous improvement across financial processes, data quality and reporting.
• Leveraging tools such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, Excel and emerging AI-enabled solutions to improve analysis and reporting.
