Job summary

XACT Placements Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Account Manager for a growing MSP with offices in Sandhurst and Farnham. The role is split: on-site in Sandhurst about 3 days per week and two days per week in Farnham supporting a varied client portfolio.

You will build strong client relationships, manage Microsoft 365 tasks, perform laptop builds, and produce clear client reports. A full UK driving licence is required, and prior TAM or client-facing IT experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Technical Account Manager or client-facing IT support role.
• Confident, professional communicator, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support.
• Ability to perform laptop builds and configuration.
• Experience creating clear, concise client reports.

Responsibilities

• Act as dedicated TAM for a key client in Sandhurst, on-site ~3 days/week.
• Provide IT support to a wider client base from Farnham for 2 days/week.
• Build and maintain relationships with users from technical to non-technical.
• Carry out laptop builds and configuration tasks.
• Manage Microsoft 365 administration and user support.
• Monitor and follow up on tickets that are open longer than expected.
• Produce clear, well-written reports for the client.

Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as a Technical Account Manager for a growing MSP based in Farnham, Surrey?

Salary: £32,000-£35,000Location: Sandhurst & Farnham

This is a Technical Account Manager position split across two elements: three days per week as the dedicated on-site TAM for a key client in Sandhurst, and two days per week in Farnham supporting a varied portfolio of clients.

Main Duties of the Role

• Act as the dedicated Technical Account Manager for a key client in Sandhurst, on-site around 3 days per week
• Provide varied technical account support across a wider client base from the Farnham office for the remaining 2 days
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of users, from technical to non-technical
• Carry out laptop builds and configuration
• Manage Microsoft 365 administration and user support
• Monitor the ticket system closely, following up on any tickets that have been open longer than expected
• Produce clear, well-written reports for the client

Your Skills and Experience

• Experience within a similar Technical Account Manager or client-facing IT support role
• Confident and professional communicator, both written and verbal
• Comfortable writing reports
• Good technical understanding of laptop builds and Microsoft 365
• Full UK driving licence & car
