Job summary

Linklaters in London seeks a Vendor Governance and Operational Support professional to coordinate governance meetings, review supplier reports, and provide structured operational support to the Technology Vendor Manager.

You will help establish performance baselines, track SLAs, support contract management and compliance, and drive continuous improvement with internal teams and external providers in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Three to six years of experience in vendor management, PMO, IT service management, or related roles within an outsourced environment.
• Experience with managed service providers, preferably in legal or professional services.
• Working knowledge of ITIL.
• Ability to establish and maintain vendor tools, trackers, reporting packs and governance routines.
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and support operational, quarterly and strategic vendor governance meetings, including agendas and action tracking.
• Review supplier reports before governance forums and drive corrective actions.
• Provide structured operational support to the Technology Vendor Manager including planning and monitoring governance commitments.
• Support performance baselines, service levels and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate on tracking performance against contracts, milestones and SLAs; highlight adverse trends.
• Assist with supplier benchmarking and relevant market analysis.
• Maintain contract management frameworks, obligations registers and spend analyses.
• Support change management, renewals and exits with appropriate governance.
• Identify cost optimisation opportunities through spend reconciliation and invoice review.
• Foster continuous improvement with internal teams and suppliers.
