Job summary

Linklaters in London seeks a Vendor Governance and Operational Support professional to coordinate governance meetings, review supplier performance, and assist with contract management and financial controls. The role supports the Technology Vendor Manager and aligns with service levels, KPIs and governance routines.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in vendor management or PMO within distributed, professional services environments.

Qualifications

• Three to six years’ practical experience in vendor management, PMO, IT service management, or a related role.
• Experience in a large, complex organization is preferred.
• Experience with managed service providers for outsourced IT services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support operational, quarterly and strategic vendor governance meetings, including agendas and actions.
• Review supplier reports and ensure corrective actions are owned, tracked and closed.
• Provide planning, reporting, and monitoring support to the Technology Vendor Manager.
• Support performance baselines, service levels, KPIs and reporting methods with Service Owners.
• Maintain contract management frameworks and governance documentation.
• Assist with financial controls: invoices, POs, spend analysis and cost optimisation.
• Drive continuous improvement and supplier collaboration within governance processes.
