Qualifications

• PC literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Web Browser) with fast & accurate keyboard skills.
• Understanding the importance of accurate reporting.
• Understanding of the IT industry sales channel.
• Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with account management tools (CRM) and Navision.
• Experience in a commercial environment preferred.
• Previous administration experience in a similar role preferred.
• Industry product and service knowledge preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers, partners and internal co-workers.
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to adapt and prioritise tasks constantly.
• Drive and ambition; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Quotations on standard and non-standard products.
• Placing orders via sales tools.
• Managing Outlook mailboxes for coworkers and customers.
• Handling initial customer queries or issues.
• Product returns and information checks (manufacturer data sheets).
• Reporting, including back orders and ad-hoc requests.
• Updating product and price changes within ServiceTrack catalogues.
• Collaborate with vendors/partners to develop opportunities and relationships in existing clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Customer Services, Credit, Purchasing).
• Develop and maintain portfolio product knowledge as directed by Account Director.
• Understand vendor promotions and deal registration processes.
