Job summary

CDW is hiring for a 12 Month FTC role to support day-to-day management of customer accounts. You will engage with internal CDW departments, vendors and customers to maximize sales capacity and satisfaction.

This hands-on position requires strong administration, reporting, and communication skills to keep the customer journey smooth. You will handle quotations, orders, mailbox management, inquiries, returns, and product information while developing knowledge of our catalogues and vendor

Qualifications

• PC literacy with Word, Excel, Outlook and web browsing; ability to create formulas and reports.
• Strong reporting discipline and accuracy.
• Understanding of IT industry sales channel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using internal account-management tools and order processing systems.
• Experience in a commercial environment preferred.
• Administration experience in a similar role preferred.
• Industry product and service knowledge preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers, partners and colleagues.
• Good time management and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to adapt and re-prioritise tasks frequently.
• Drive, ambition and attention to detail.
• Commercially minded with a readiness to grow.

Responsibilities

• Quotations for standard and non-standard products.
• Place orders via sales tools.
• Manage Outlook mailboxes for coworkers and customers.
• Handle initial customer queries or issues.
• Process product returns.
• Maintain product information and datasheets.
• Generate reports including back orders and ad-hoc requests.
• Update products and prices in service catalogs.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to develop opportunities in existing clients.
• Liaise with internal departments such as Customer Services, Credit and Purchasing.
• Develop and maintain portfolio product knowledge as directed.
• Understand vendor promotions and deal registration processes.
• Assist with holiday cover and training of coworkers.
