Akoni Technologies is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join its hybrid team in Reading. You will identify prospective clients, build relationships with decision-makers and support the sales process from engagement to opportunity development.

Experience in sales or business development is beneficial, and strong communication, initiative and a quick-learning mindset are valued. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities in technology consulting and digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, recruitment, technology or a client-facing role.
• Strong communication, confidence and initiative; ability to learn quickly.
• Curious, adaptable and keen to develop within a growing technology business.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new UK & EU clients in technology and professional services.
• Generate opportunities via cold calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking and events.
• Build a strong pipeline and engage senior stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, Procurement).
• Lead meetings, discovery calls and client presentations; understand client challenges and propose solutions.
• Negotiate terms and close opportunities; manage proposals and forecasting.
