Job summary

Centrica is seeking a Technology Portfolio Manager for Group Functions. You will lead a portfolio of around 40 projects and partner with the Tech Leadership Team to develop and implement a technology transformation roadmap.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of building high-performing portfolio delivery teams in complex environments, with strong business acumen and executive stakeholder engagement to drive strategic outcomes.

• Experience leading portfolio delivery teams in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop Group Functions Technology Transformation portfolio delivery strategy.
• Plan and deliver portfolio of circa 40 projects annually.
• Manage a team of project managers.
• Manage portfolio multi-million budget and optimise return on investment.
• Manage portfolio demands prioritisation aligned to strategic objectives.
• Provide delivery assurance to technical project managers and across technology delivery teams.
• Ensure compliance with standards and governance.
• Be a Technology Delivery Partner for the companywide stakeholders.
• Provide portfolio reporting and manage portfolio communication companywide.
• Be a proactive member of Technology Delivery Management team and act as a role model.
