Job summary

Sainsbury's Tech is seeking a Technology Manager to lead Network, Connectivity and Hosting initiatives. You will optimise IT infrastructure across stores, depots and offices, manage external partners, and ensure service value while maintaining security and governance. The role is hybrid with London or Coventry-based working arrangements.

You will drive delivery excellence, coach teams, and partner with Architecture, Procurement and Finance to shape the technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale third-party technology suppliers in complex organisations.
• Proven track record of strong leadership inside and outside the organisation.
• Broad knowledge of technology concepts with proven experience in managing network services.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE and cloud-first network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evolve our IT infrastructure connecting stores, fuel stations, depots and offices.
• Analyse current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and drive execution.
• Work with external partners and suppliers to deliver meaningful change and drive continual improvement of our network.
• Ensure technical assurance of business outcomes and outsourced platforms and services.
• Drive new ways of working and evolving processes to deliver a capable and reliable network platform.
• Engage with Architecture, Procurement, Finance and Delivery functions to align on strategy.
