Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking talented students for its Tech Insights Group in London. You will engage with leading software and technology companies, supporting due diligence and value creation engagements for private equity clients.

The role combines research, product strategy input, and technology architecture insights. You will collaborate with globally distributed experts, contribute to investment theses, and develop your technology and commercial acumen through formal and informal training

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/Master’s degree in a relevant field (i.e., computer science, data science, statistics, information systems, engineering, business management).
• We are looking for candidates in their penultimate year of study, or those with less than two years of full-time work experience.
• Professional fluency in English required
• Fluency in French/German is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform primary and secondary research: collect and analyze data from various sources to test or further our understanding of business or market.
• Product strategy and roadmap assessments: contribute to the assessment of product capabilities, positioning, and roadmap viability.
• Technology strategy and roadmap assessments: assess architectures, technical debt, hosting and security.
• Develop and communicate insights and recommendations to the case team, technology leaders, and PE investors
